Horizon Recruitment is working with a large tech organization to identify their next Manager, Procurement & Supply Chain who will be located in their Richmond office. This position is responsible for the procurement organization and continued leadership and transformation of strategic procurement as well as developing strategic plans for the Supply Chain. The successful candidate will be a seasoned procurement executive with strong supply chain, and procurement experience. This is an opportunity to show a business what the value of quality procurement can do to create value.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving strategic bill of material reviews
  • BOM qualifications with internal teams
  • Responsible for Gap analysis of needs vs deliverable
  • Reporting on KPI's
  • Spearhead initiatives on creating profitable ways to move stock
  • Analyze and develop metrics to track inventory levels
  • Manage/ mentor the team

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in a similar role
  • A Bachelors degree
  • Experience in an electronics environment
  • Must be able to create complex strategies and supply/demand forecasts
  • Experience with SAP would be considered an asset
  • Ability to assist in defining and delivering part and product strategies
  • Develop new models for different aspects within procurement and supply chain
  • Analytical with good problem solving skills
  • Experience in planning (material and component)
  • Good negotiation skills
