Horizon Recruitment Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager Finance with an exciting retail client in Vancouver. Our client is an industry leader and is looking for a dynamic leader to help grow and mentor the already strong FP&A team and grow with the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver efficient and effective budgeting, forecasting and analysis across the organization
  • Drive process improvement and system optimization for data analysis
  • Ensure analysis and data is translated across the business and to other strategic decision makers throughout the organization for optimal strategy and growth
  • Provide leadership and management to the FP&A team
  • Consolidate multiple budgets and developing corporate wide assumptions
  • Provide the monthly reporting packages to executive management with monthly and quarter to date revenue, gross margins, operating and capital expenses with comparative analysis and commentary vs. budget and prior periods
  • Providing focused, value-added commentary to senior management on key variances and other areas critical to run the business
  • Develop effective partnerships with senior management to understand their reporting requirements to support and add value to the business.

Requirements

  • A professional accounting or other professional designation is required (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA, CFA, MBA)
  • At least 5-7 years of experience with a large complex business
  • Experience leading the budgeting process for a company with $400M+ revenues
  • A proven track record of exceptional performance in a management and leadership role
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment (strong data analysis and financial modelling required)
  • Keen business acumen with the ability to work through a variety of complex financial tasks
  • Exceptional written, spoken and presentation abilities
