Just HR is seeking an experienced Senior Learning & Development Consultant for an interim consulting engagement (3 months+) to design a comprehensive training and development strategy in conjunction with our clients Human Resources leaders and rest of the Senior Leadership Team. There is a strong possibility that this opportunity could expand into an implementation phase (1–2 years) once the initial design and recommendation work has been completed. The successful candidate will work closely with our client to create a forward-thinking training strategy that encompasses succession planning, technology, and various other organizational areas. Our client operates a complex business that plays an integral role in getting our countries natural resources to global markets.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design a holistic L&D strategy that integrates succession planning, leverages information technology, and covers critical organizational areas for future growth and scalability.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to measure the effectiveness of the L&D strategy and adjust programs as needed to meet evolving organizational needs
  • Develop and implement scalable, impactful training programs tailored to executive needs, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational objectives.
  • Facilitate engaging and insightful training sessions, workshops, and seminars for the executive team and key stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and incorporate new and emerging learning technologies and methodologies to enhance training effectiveness and employee engagement.
  • Work closely with the HR team to ensure a seamless transition of the L&D strategy for long-term implementation and success.
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices in L&D, including the latest trends and innovative solutions to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of professional development.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an L&D Consultant, Training Manager, or similar role, particularly within a consulting or corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement comprehensive L&D strategies across a wide range of disciplines, including succession planning and information technology.
  • Strong command of modern learning technologies, platforms, and practices, with experience in deploying these solutions to drive organizational learning.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives and stakeholders effectively.
  • Background in HR or organizational development, with a deep understanding of how L&D initiatives align with broader HR strategies and business goals.
  • Agile and adaptable approach to managing complex projects, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications or advanced degrees in Learning and Development, Human Resources, Business, or related fields are preferred.

Remuneration:

  • $70 - 90/hr
