Horizon Recruitment Inc. has been engaged by a large global business to identify a proven top performer who will conduct analysis for specific capital projects, strategic investments and other opportunities. The Senior Corporate Development Analyst will work with Senior Management to provide expertise and economic analysis for key investment projects and lead execution strategies on these opportunities. This unique role will give you the opportunity to look at a wide range of capital projects which includes sustainability focused ones.
Responsibilities:
- Execute comprehensive research and provide expert level modelling to support various investment and market circumstances
- Prepare reports of detailed findings and confidently present recommendations to stakeholders
- Work with team to evaluate growth opportunities along with threats that could impact the growth of the enterprise
- Study industry to ensure a comprehensive understanding of all economic drivers impacting the business and opportunities
Requirements:
- A professional designation (MBA, CFA, CPA) is required
- Expert level modeling skills combined with expert Excel, database and PowerPoint skills
- 5-7 years of experience in a complex environment with preference for experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Development or Treasury
- Engineering experience is an asset
- Experience in Oil and Gas is preferred
- Experience conducting in-depth financial analysis and due diligence in a complex global environment
- Thorough understanding of economic drivers, financial theory, and various valuation methods including discounted cash flows (DCF)
- Interpersonal savvy and the ability to speak comfortably with and present to senior executives
- Salary range: $110-120k depending on experience.
