Horizon Recruitment Inc. is on the search for a Payroll Manager with both US and Canadian experience. This great company has operations across North America and you will have the chance to lead and mentor a great payroll group and provide hands-on help as required. In order to be successful in this role, your expertise extends beyond Canada. You have experience in processing and implementing payroll across the US and all of the Canadian provinces which includes an understanding of the legal legislation, tax implications, benefits, and processes associated with each particular geographical region.
- Experience in management and leadership in a busy, large and complex organization, and desire to mentor and inspire co-workers is essential
- US Payroll experience in a large company (1000 people plus!)
- Enjoy working in a growing, fast-paced and creative environment
- Problem solver with the ability to think outside the box, and explore creative solutions
- Exceptional communicator with the ability to correspond with various departments, and levels of seniority
- Sense of fun and sense of humor
- Designation or certification in Payroll (PCP, CPP, CPM) preferred
