Horizon Recruitment Inc. has an immediate need for a Junior Accountant to help support our growing client in the manufacturing and distribution space. Due to new opportunities arising, the team is looking to add someone who can help with the growing workload. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a stable, growing company.
Responsibilities:
- Full cycle accounts payable, processing payments under strict deadlines
- Perform scheduled payment runs; distribute cheques in a prompt and efficient manner
- Assist with continuous improvement activities within Accounts Payable function
- Prepare bank reconciliations
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of AP experience
- CPA student or interest in enrolling in the program
- Experience with multi-company and multi-currency organizations, and inter-company transactions an asset
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a proactive approach to managing projects & issues
- Someone who takes pride in their work with strong attention to detail
