Interim Controller - Consolidations

Horizon Recruitment is currently seeking an Interim Controller-Consolidations to join our large, lower-mainland client. Our international client is seeking an experienced, dynamic individual to assist the accounting team during a period of transition.

Job Description:
Reporting to the Controller, the Interim Controller will be responsible for accurate and timely consolidations, budgeting and reporting functions. You will work with senior accounting staff in the preparation of complex consolidations using excel spreadsheets. The ideal candidate for this role will have the opportunity to transition into a permanent position.

Requirements:

• Must hold a professional Accounting Designation (CPA etc)
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Thorough knowledge of IFRS and compliance issues
• Experience performing complex, manual consolidations
• The ability to work well in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Superior written and spoken English
