Horizon Recruitment is seeking a Financial Analyst, Systems for one of our large public sector clients based in their centrally located Surrey office.
As Financial Analyst, Systems you will coordinate the design and development of applications for budgeting, financial reporting and financial analysis. You will manage these projects to ensure that implementation is completed on schedule, and training and support is provided. This includes working with management and users to complete their daily work activities, as well as driving process improvements and system enhancements that can help users perform more efficiently. The Financial Analyst, Systems will maximize the financial benefit of IT system benefits and promote their consistent and efficient use throughout the organization.
- An accounting designation (CPA) with strong systems experience
- Experience with ERP financial application software
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Proven success in the design, development and implementation of software solutions and improvements
- Must be a team player and effective communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Well organized, structured, and efficient
