Horizon Recruitment Inc. is currently seeking a Finance Manager - New Project Development for a large Lower Mainland client who is in early stages of building multiple new facilities. As the Finance Manager, you will work closely with operational staff and leadership in planning and executing the construction and eventual operation of multiple new facilities for the organization. These facilities will be geographically dispersed, making communication and organization is an extremely important part of your day. The work will consist of operational reporting on the projects and financial planning for them. This high profile role will give you the opportunity to work on both CAPEX and OPEX matters, depending on the stage of the project. Being a growing organization, it is expected that new facilities will continually be added down the road.
Requirements:
A recognized accounting designation is required (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA)
A MBA along with significant finance experience may be considered in lieu of accounting designation
5+ years at a managerial level is preferred
6+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis in complex environment
Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills using Excel and other tools
Strong interpersonal and exceptional communication skills
Ability to develop and manage a dynamic business process in a fast paced environment
