Horizon Recruitment has an immediate need for an AP Accountant with an investment management firm based in downtown Vancouver. This role is open due to a promotion as the company looks within to grow and develop staff.
- Processing invoices and expense reports, including obtaining approvals, processing payments
- Maintaining and updating accrued liabilities schedules
- Intercompany invoicing and payment processing
- Preparing and record journal entries
- Bank account reconciliations
- Bank deposits
- Support for year end audits
- Other general accounting duties as assigned
- 2+ years’ experience in a junior level accounts payable and/or accounting role
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills including Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Someone who is not afraid to jump in to get the job done
