Horizon Recruitment is working with one of Canada's largest hospitality companies as they emerge from the pandemic and commence with more and more of their diverse offerings. There is an immediate need for an Accounting Manager to oversee a small team of 4 as they continue ramping up. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to step up in their career as our client is open to developing someone with limited leadership experience, but wants to gain it.
- Oversee the full cycle accounting for one division of a large corporation
- Aside from the financial reporting, you will also work closely with leadership on the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Provide mentorship and support to a small team
- Accounting designation is strongly preferred (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA)
- A minimum of 3 years professional working experience with a large, complex organization
- Prior experience using a larger ERP system (Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, etc.)
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities
- Must be extremely detail-oriented and disciplined with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
