Horizon Recruitment Inc. is conducting a search for a Treasury Analys t to join our large publicly traded client. This is a newly created role as they are growing the treasury function. We are looking for someone with 2-3 years of experience in either public practice or a treasury role with strong excel skills and a keen interest in treasury.
Responsibilities:
- Lead various treasury functions including cash management strategies and liquidity and debt covenants reporting
- Undertake administrator-responsibilities for global banking and ongoing maintenance of effective internal controls and procedures
- Analyze and communicate financial information, ensuring reporting is reliable and understandable
- Assist in the Company’s full-cycle accounting process including the preparation of monthly journal entries, GL reconciliations, and corporate head office monthly / quarterly financial reports
- Facilitate Corporate’s intercompany process regarding intercompany loans, investments and cost reimbursements
- Contribute to or lead long-term projects related to finance functions and systems
- Support for other accounting and administrative functions as assigned
Requirements:
- In possession of a recognized university degree with a specialization in accounting or business with at least two years of relevant work experience
- Treasury and/or bank administration experience would be a plus but is not required
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel to organize and summarize large amounts of data
- An open and articulate communicator with strong analysis, presentation and written communication skills
- An individual not afraid to bring forth innovative ideas and be considered an enabler who champions best practices to promote organizational effectiveness.
- Demonstrates a commitment to quality performance, continual improvement, elimination of waste, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines

Rewards:
- $70,000-$75,000
