Just HR is recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support a growing operations-focused organization based in Vancouver. This role exists to ensure critical hospitality and support staff are hired on time, fully qualified, and ready for assignment in a structured, rotational work environment. The position plays an important role in keeping operations running smoothly by building strong talent pipelines, improving hiring processes, and supporting workforce planning within the HR team. Responsibilities
- Manage full cycle recruitment for hospitality, guest services, and support staff across multiple operational sites
- Build and maintain active candidate pipelines to support ongoing rotation schedules and upcoming workforce needs
- Develop sourcing strategies targeting hospitality, remote site, camp, and high-volume service environments
- Screen candidates for both technical fit and suitability for rotational or project-based assignments
- Coordinate pre-employment requirements including certifications, medical clearances, and compliance documentation
- Partner with operations leaders and HR to forecast hiring needs based on project timelines and staffing plans
- Maintain accurate records and track recruiting activity within the ATS
- Support onboarding handoff to ensure a smooth transition from offer to start date
- Monitor recruiting metrics and identify opportunities to improve hiring efficiency
- Represent the organization professionally when engaging candidates and external talent networks
Requirements
- 3+ years of high-volume recruiting experience
- Experience hiring for hospitality, food service, accommodations, camps, or similar operational environments preferred
- Strong ability to manage multiple open roles at once
- Proven sourcing skills and ability to build talent pipelines proactively
- Comfortable working independently and setting priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Experience using an ATS or recruiting system
- Strong judgment when assessing candidate fit beyond resume qualifications
- Experience recruiting for remote sites, rotational workforces, or project-based environments is an asset
- Knowledge of regulated or compliance-driven hiring processes is an asset
- Additional language skills are considered an asset
Remuneration
$80,000 base salary plus performance bonus and benefits.
