Property Administration Supervisor

Horizon Recruitment is recruiting for a Supervisor, Property Administration to lead a team supporting a dynamic commercial office portfolio in British Columbia. This role ensures best-in-class administrative support for property operations, finance, and tenant relations. As the key link between internal stakeholders and the property management team, you'll drive process improvements, coach your team, and support strategic decisions through accurate reporting and lease oversight.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of property administrators, fostering accountability and collaboration
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including property management, accounting, leasing, and investment teams
  • Monitor financial performance and provide analysis at both the property and portfolio level
  • Prepare monthly management reports and support budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Oversee tenant billing accuracy, year-end adjustments, and lease compliance
  • Maintain oversight of accounts receivable and ensure follow-up on delinquencies
  • Ensure vendor management procedures and data integrity standards are upheld
  • Support administrative process improvements and workflow efficiencies
  • Supervise contact and document management systems for accuracy and compliance
  • Evaluate team performance, provide coaching, and ensure balanced workloads
  • Coordinate internal communications to maintain visibility on portfolio activities
  • Encourage team engagement in community involvement initiatives
  • Ensure timely completion of all administrative schedules and deliverables
  • Contribute to other operational and strategic initiatives as needed

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a property administration or accounting-focused role
  • Experience managing teams and administrative functions
  • Understanding of commercial leases and real estate operations
  • Post-secondary education in business, accounting, or a related field
  • Proficient with Yardi (intermediate to advanced)
  • Excellent customer service and time management skills
  • Clear and professional communication skills in English
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to deadlines

Remuneration

$75,00 - $85,000 + Bonus
