Horizon Recruitment Inc. is seeking a Global Category Manager to lead sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and procurement optimization for high-value contracts. This role partners with senior stakeholders to align procurement with business objectives, drive supplier performance, and deliver strategic cost savings.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Lead contract negotiations, supplier performance management, and cost optimization for large-scale agreements.
- Act as a key liaison between procurement, operations, and executive leadership, advising on sourcing strategies and supplier selection.
- Manage negotiations for large EPC, construction, and complex service contracts, ensuring best contracting practices.
- Manage sourcing strategies for technical services and large-scale operations, ensuring efficiency and risk mitigation.
- Monitor market trends, assess risks, and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
- Ensure supplier compliance with corporate policies, sustainability goals, and governance frameworks.
- Implement best practices in contract management, supplier performance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Present insights, recommendations, and strategies to senior leadership.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, SCMP or a related field.
- 5+ years managing contracts; large EPC, construction, or technical service categories.
- 3+ years of executive presence with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience in procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in SAP, SAP Ariba, and enterprise procurement systems.
Remuneration:
- $140,000 - $180,000 + bonus
