Horizon Recruitment is recruiting for a Financial Reporting and Treasury Analyst (Contract) to support a high-performing finance team through year-end and post-acquisition integration. This role is critical to ensuring accurate external reporting and strong treasury oversight in a fast-moving, publicly traded company that reports under IFRS. You’ll help maintain financial integrity during a period of significant activity and transformation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and disclosures in compliance with IFRS
• Support year-end close processes, including reconciliations and audit requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial reporting for newly acquired entities
• Contribute to the development of consolidated reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders
• Manage daily cash positioning and short-term forecasting
• Monitor treasury transactions and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Identify process improvements to streamline reporting and treasury activities
• Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed during peak periods

Requirements

• CPA designation or equivalent experience in financial reporting and treasury
• Experience with public company reporting under IFRS
• Strong understanding of year-end close and audit processes
• Comfortable working with multiple entities or in post-acquisition environments
• Proficient in Excel and financial systems (e.g. ERP or consolidation tools)
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Remuneration:

• $65-75/hr
