Horizon Recruitment is recruiting for a Financial Reporting and Treasury Analyst (Contract) to support a high-performing finance team through year-end and post-acquisition integration. This role is critical to ensuring accurate external reporting and strong treasury oversight in a fast-moving, publicly traded company that reports under IFRS. You’ll help maintain financial integrity during a period of significant activity and transformation.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and disclosures in compliance with IFRS
- Support year-end close processes, including reconciliations and audit requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial reporting for newly acquired entities
- Contribute to the development of consolidated reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders
- Manage daily cash positioning and short-term forecasting
- Monitor treasury transactions and ensure compliance with internal controls
- Identify process improvements to streamline reporting and treasury activities
- Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed during peak periods
Requirements
- CPA designation or equivalent experience in financial reporting and treasury
- Experience with public company reporting under IFRS
- Strong understanding of year-end close and audit processes
- Comfortable working with multiple entities or in post-acquisition environments
- Proficient in Excel and financial systems (e.g. ERP or consolidation tools)
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Remuneration:
- $65-75/hr
