Horizon Recruitment is recruiting for an AP Operations Lead to step into a critical short-term role ensuring the continuity of day-to-day Accounts Payable activities. With a key team member departing, this person will be the main point of contact overseeing outputs from an offshore AP service provider. The role is designed to maintain control, accuracy, and responsiveness in a high-volume, global AP environment over an initial three-month term.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and review daily AP operations managed by an offshore service provider, ensuring timely and accurate processing of ~9,000 invoices/month
• Act as the primary contact for offshore service agents, troubleshooting issues and ensuring adherence to established processes
• Validate vendor onboarding documentation, checking bank details and master data with precision
• Review and approve vendor payments and ensure alignment with internal controls
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across global offices (India, Singapore, Hong Kong) to support AP continuity and vendor communication
• Respond to escalations related to invoice discrepancies or payment concerns
• Provide operational support during audits or ad hoc requests from the Finance team
• Assist with occasional project-related queries or tasks on a support basis
• Maintain and update process documentation as needed

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or finance operations, ideally within a mid- to large-sized company
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with financial data
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-volume environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in a remote and offshore team setting
• Proficient with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and strong Excel skills
• Ability to start work early (between 6:30–7:30 AM PT) to align with offshore teams
• Flexible, patient, and able to work independently without direct reports
• Strong understanding of vendor master data, payment approvals, and basic accounting principles

Remuneration:

• $50/hr
