Horizon Recruitment is recruiting for an Accounting Manager to support international operations across Europe and Asia. This role exists to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong regional oversight, and alignment with global accounting standards. You will play a key role in delivering timely insights, maintaining financial integrity, and supporting business leaders with meaningful analysis that drives informed decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead full cycle accounting and financial reporting for Europe and Asia entities
• Prepare consolidated reporting packages for the parent organization
• Oversee the accounts receivable process across the region
• Review month-end close activities including journal entries and accruals
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances to support accurate reporting
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and reporting prepared by senior accountants
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of monthly and quarterly reporting templates
• Prepare and review quarterly variance analysis
• Review transfer pricing entries to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Coordinate tax-related information across multiple entities
• Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and reporting support
• Contribute to ad hoc analysis and special projects
• Coach, mentor, and support direct reports to strengthen team performance
• Identify process improvements and drive efficiencies across systems and workflows
• Support sustainability and corporate responsibility initiatives within the organization

Requirements:

• CPA designation required
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of IFRS
• Experience with multi-entity or international accounting is preferred
• Real estate industry experience is an asset, not required
• Advanced Excel skills
• Familiarity with Yardi, Elevate, or Concur is an asset
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership
• Comfortable working independently and adapting to changing priorities

Remuneration:

$105,000 - $120,000 + Bonus
