Horizon Recruitment Inc. has an immediate need for a Supply Chain Coordinator with our logistics client in Richmond BC. Our client is an entrepreneurial organization with a strong focus on teamwork and customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a proactive customer service-based approach to building relationships with a portfolio of clients and will be a hands on self-starter who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and contribute to the organization’s growth
Responsibilities:
- Enter customer orders into WMS/TMS systems.
- Ensure daily accuracy of inventory records.
- Build and maintain relationships with warehouse and logistics partners both domestically and internationally.
- Participate in initiatives to enhance the global supply chain and trade efforts.
- Gain insight into the key factors and constraints affecting export/import operations.
- Work with internal teams to keep clients informed about their order statuses.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries to uphold positive relationships.
- Leverage available resources to effectively resolve issues.
- Generate reports, paperwork, and invoices associated with customer transactions.
- Review and interpret management reports derived from WMS and TMS data.
- Proactively address recurring challenges and seek opportunities for improvement.
- Initiate strategies to lower costs and support business growth.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain or logistics within Canada.
- Degree or diploma in business administration or a related discipline.
- Strong warehousing or food distribution experience.
- Proven relationship builder with excellent communication abilities.
- Capable of handling customer concerns with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Proficient in developing client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
- Motivated self-starter committed to ongoing improvement.
- ERP, WMS/TMS, experience.
- Able to use MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications to support business decisions and client analysis.
