Horizon Recruitment Inc. is currently seeking a strong Internal Auditor for a large public sector organization for a 1 year contract with the potential for long term.
Responsibilities:
As the Internal Auditor you will be responsible for the full audit process. You will conduct internal audits locally while keeping a keen eye on opportunities for process improvement. This role requires a critical thinker with an analytical mindset. You will develop audit plans, lead onsite internal audit teams, and perform inquiry, analysis and testing across a range of operational and financial functions. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual, capable of excelling in a fast paced environment.
Requirements:
- Professional Audit Designation (CIA, CISA, CPA, CA)
- Previous audit experience in a public practice or internal audit capacity
- The ability to think outside the box
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication
