Horizon Recruitment Inc. is currently conducting the search for a Senior Procurement Analyst for our client located in Downtown Toronto.
The Senior Procurement Analyst will be responsible for to execute orders various IT Spend categories including Telecom, Hardware and Software .
Responsibilities:
- Manage purchasing activities while ensuring that business stakeholder’s are compiling to purchasing contracts
- Issue purchase orders and follow up on order status
- Manage reporting and data management
- Support implementation of process improvements
- Support the negotiation process with selected vendors to spot purchase materials and services as needed
- Resolve purchasing and support services issues in a timely and professional manner
- Review and participate in budgeting and reporting process
- Ensure internal compliance with Strategic Procurement policies, procedures, strategies and guidelines on an ongoing basis
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in purchasing experience within IT
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications
- Strong negotiation skills and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
