Horizon Recruitment Inc is currently seeking a standout Real Estate Specialist to join a growing team with our downtown Vancouver client. This person will take ownership of the Real Estate Leasing function and have the chance to work with cross-functional teams to provide decision support on key commercial issues.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate lease and licencing agreements pertaining to property
- Report on various properties (improvements, construction, etc.)
- Create and present business cases to internal stakeholders to make informed business decisions
- Assist with various audits for assigned properties
- Review lease agreements and ensure accuracy
- Review and explore new opportunities for revenue growth;
- Report to senior management and the board as required
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in industry with increasing levels of responsibility in a Real Estate Administration/planning capacity
- Experience negotiating lease terms
- Expert level skills in Microsoft Office and strong user of Power Point
- Self-motivated and results oriented with a focus on quality
- Excellent listening, verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Excellent collaborative problem solving skills with an ability to implement solutions
- Ability to lead in a rapidly evolving and dynamic environment
- Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal skills
