Horizon Recruitment Inc has an immediate opening for a Payroll Implementation and Outsourcing Consultant for one of our downtown Vancouver clients. This is a 6-month contract to help the company outsource their US payroll.

Job Description:

Working with the Controller and the Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for the project of outsourcing the US payroll for this growing technology company. You will oversee process improvements and process documentation to ensure a smooth transition to a trusted third party system. You will be responsible for testing and validating the process and will assist with other payroll improvements as needed. You will demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills when dealing with internal and external customers and providers. 


  • 5+ years of full cycle payroll experience for a mid sized company
  • Experience with implementations or outsourcing payroll
  • Experience with US payroll is an asset
  • Great communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent Excel and Word skills
  • Outgoing, positive and enthusiastic personality
