Horizon Recruitment Inc. seeking a talented Inventory Manager to lead and optimize inventory processes in a newly consolidated, cutting-edge warehouse facility. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Distribution, the Inventory Manager will oversee key operational functions, ensuring the accuracy of inventory, efficient slotting of products, and overall warehouse productivity. With significant investments made in technology and processes, this role is crucial for ongoing business growth and transformation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with receiving and warehouse teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies in product counts, short picks, and damaged goods.
  • Assist in product slotting and ensure products are stored efficiently for optimal picking, based on size, attributes, and movement.
  • Manage accuracy of cycle counts, collaborating with team Lead, and ensure inventory goals are met by year-end.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot backorders, shortages, and misplaced products, ensuring swift corrective action.
  • Analyze inventory issues, such as ghost products, and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Oversee the disposition of damaged goods and coordinate with department leads to maintain adherence to procedures.
  • Drive warehouse safety, ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards.
  • Support ongoing process improvements and layout redesigns for optimized inventory flow and space utilization.
  • Provide monthly performance reports to senior management and contribute to strategic inventory planning.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of warehouse and inventory experience, preferably in a large-scale, high-volume distribution center.
  • Experience in warehouse layout and inventory optimization, with a focus on improving accuracy and efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and lead teams.
  • Physical capability to handle warehouse demands, including lifting and moving products as needed.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Rewards:

  • $80,000 - $100,000 + Bonus
