Horizon Recruitment Inc. is actively searching for an Intermediate Accountant to join one of our large clients with operations across Canada and a head office in South Surrey. You will work on a great team and will be providing accounting support for financial reporting and the corporate accounting team.
Responsibilities:
- Full cycle accounting and reporting including financial statement support
- Weekly and month-end reporting and reconciliations (including cash reconciliations)
- Reporting and remittance for sales tax across Canada
- Assist the accounting team with ad hoc projects and duties as required
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar full-cycle position
- Completion or working on completion of CPA designation
- Strong technical, analytical and database skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Business acumen and a proven work ethic
