Horizon Recruitment Inc. is conducting a search for a Divisional Accountant to join our growing downtown Vancouver client. The company is an established and stable company in the resource sector with many long-standing employees. This newly created position will oversee the full cycle accounting for a new part of the business. This will include everything from AP, AR, and banking to the preparation of financial statements and annual audit working papers.
Requirements:
- A professional accounting designation is nice to have but not required
- Hands on, roll up the sleeves professional comfortable with working in a small office
- 3-5 years of experience in full cycle accounting coupled with experience in manufacturing, operations and logistics
- Capability, drive and initiative to learn, adapt and execute
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
