Horizon Recruitment Inc. is conducting a search for a Divisional Accountant to join our growing downtown Vancouver client. The company is an established and stable company in the resource sector with many long-standing employees. This position will oversee the full cycle accounting for a very defined part of the business. This will include everything from AP, AR, and banking to the preparation of financial statements and annual audit working papers. The role is ideal for a late-stage CPA student looking to obtain more well-rounded experience in achieving their letters.
Requirements:
- A professional accounting designation is nice to have but not required
- Hands-on, roll up the sleeves professional comfortable with working in a small office
- 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle accounting coupled with experience in manufacturing, operations and logistics
- Capability, drive and initiative to learn, adapt and execute
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
