Horizon Recruitment is partnering with a leading global manufacturing company identify and recruit their Director, Treasury. The Director, Treasury will play a leadership role in the Treasury Team with responsibility for overseeing global cash and liquidity management as well as cash forecasting and budgeting, and the corporate insurance program. Reporting to the Vice President, Tax and Treasury, this position will work closely with Senior Management and regional teams to provide critical analyses to support key business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership, governance, and innovation in Treasury Operations globally
- Responsibility for the global cash management initiative and coordination and management of international banking operations and debt facilities to support overall liquidity
- Lead and improve cash-flow forecasting and budgeting processes across the global portfolio to drive cash management, distribution, and hedging strategies
- Managing insurance portfolio including assessing existing insurance policies to ensure appropriate types and levels of coverage are maintained, corporate insurance renewal and claims processing, and broker/carrier relationship management
- Global transaction support including partnering with regional teams
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to develop and execute strategies for capitalizations, repatriations, intercompany loans, and other Treasury operations projects
- Responsible for compliance reporting such as bank covenant compliance and financial disclosure and support board reporting
- Coordinate and complete year-end audit requirements
- Ensure policies and controls are updated appropriately and adherence to both is uniform
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary degree with emphasis on Business Administration/Accounting (Master’s degree/CFA preferred).
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred.
- 7-9 years of progressively responsible treasury experience.
- Cash Management, Banking, Hedging and Insurance experience with a strong understanding of derivatives, hedging, investments, bank account management, and international funds flows
- Excellent attention to detail as well as organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues and business partners.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform well within a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Manufacturing financial experience would be an asset.
