Horizon Recruitment is seeking a Director of Operations/ Manufacturing to work with one of our clients in Toronto, Ontario. The Director will develop, deploy and execute the manufacturing strategy, including daily management, capacity planning, the technical development of manufacturing systems and processes and establishment of cost, productivity, quality, and delivery KPI’s. He/She will also ensure that the plant operates in a sustainable manner and build a culture of continuous improvement. The Director will lead and ensure the ongoing development of flexible, cost-effective, high quality, high service manufacturing operations while implementing and maintaining Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) methods.
The Director of Operations/Manufacturing should have the following experience:
- 7+ years leading a successful manufacturing facility
- Experience implementing Continuous Improvement Programs/Projects
- Strong Business Acumen
- Experience in a high volume multi-product production facility
- Holding an MBA or a P.Eng is an asset
