Horizon Recruitment has immediate openings for experienced Contracts Administrators on a 1 year term with a large O&G producer. The Contracts Administrator will be a part of an accomplished team providing contract administration and formation expertise on initiatives ranging from $1M to $50M. The Contracts Administrator will work at Site on a 4:3 basis for 10 hours/day.
Responsibilities:
Manage post-award vendor relationships with service providers
Assist with major vendor negotiations
Manage all change orders, claims, and scope inquiries
Develop and manage vendor KPI's and scorecards
Track project budgets and schedules for contract portfolio
Assist with the development of scope of work and RFx for tenders
Liaise with project managers, engineers and construction/site managers to ensure vendors are completing work to schedule and to required quality levels
Requirements:
University level degree ideally in legal, engineering or construction management disciplines
5+ years of experience working in a capital project environment
3+ years of experience working in Mining, Construction, Oil & Gas, etc
5+ years of experience in contract administration/contract management
Experience managing contracts for earth moving and site preparation
Exceptional communication skills. Both written and verbal
Customer service focused approach to contract management
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
