Horizon Recruitment has immediate openings for experienced Contracts Administrators on a 1 year term with a large O&G producer. The Contracts Administrator will be a part of an accomplished team providing contract administration and formation expertise on initiatives ranging from $1M to $50M. The Contracts Administrator will eventually work at Site during 2021 but will start in the Calgary office until it is reasonable to start working on rotation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage post-award vendor relationships with service providers
- Assist with major vendor negotiations
- Manage all change orders, claims, and scope inquiries
- Develop and manage vendor KPI's and scorecards
- Track project budgets and schedules for contract portfolio
- Assist with the development of scope of work and RFx for tenders
- Liaise with project managers, engineers and construction/site managers to ensure vendors are completing work to schedule and to required quality levels
Requirements:
- University level degree ideally in legal, engineering or construction management disciplines
- 5+ years of experience working in a capital project environment
- 3+ years of experience working in Mining, Construction, Oil & Gas, etc
- 5+ years of experience in contract administration/contract management
- Experience managing contracts for earth moving and site preparation
- Exceptional communication skills. Both written and verbal
- Customer service focused approach to contract management
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
