Horizon Recruitment Inc. is searching for an experienced IT Contract Manager for their Technology Group. The position requires a senior consultant with experience running full life cycle RFP's as well as experience leading negotiations and vendor management processes. Knowledge within MSP, SAAS, Hardware and Software is required.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage the Sourcing lifecycle;
- Stakeholder requirements gathering
- Developing innovative Sourcing strategies
- Build and run RFx’s
- Lead contract Negotiations and vendor management strategy
- Document and present RFx results/recommendations to obtain buy-in/approvals from Senior Leadership
- Support Vendor onboarding as needed
- Tactfully negotiate contracts in order to drive optimal value, and terms and conditions
- In collaboration with the Business stakeholders, develop opportunities to drive cost optimization and operational efficiencies within current and new 3rd party arrangements
- Build successful relationships with other support functions in order to provide a seamless end-user experience
- Prioritize and assess the urgency to resolve inquiries and escalations pertaining to Vendor/Contract related matters
Must Have:
- 10 Years experience managing IT procurement and vendor management projects
- Degree or diploma in Business Management or related discipline, OR 5 years’ experience in technology Sourcing, including but not limited to;
- End-to-End Sourcing Lifecycle Management
- Contract management and Negotiations
- Vendor and Risk Management
- Data Management and Analysis
- Certified Procurement Professional (CPP) or Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation an asset
- Experience in the following categories is a significant asset;
- Cloud/Hosted/SaaS/PaaS
- Infrastructure/Networking/Security
- End User HW/SW
- In collaboration with General Counsel, analyze significantly, and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and procedures
- Provide expertise, recommendations, and risk mitigation strategies to internal and external resources related to the RFx process and Vendor/Contract management activities
- Effective listening, comprehension and communication skills (Oral and Written)
- Highly competent in building and presenting PowerPoint presentations
- Organizational and Project Management Skills
- Familiarity with Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) is an asset
