Horizon Recruitment Inc. has been engaged to conduct the search for a Continuous Improvement Specialist for our BC Based client. The Continuous Improvement Specialist will lead the supply chain organization through various client based electronics projects. This is a key strategic role in the company and the successful candidate will be tasked with analyzing, recommending, planning and spearheading projects to improve the company's lean manufacturing performance. The successful candidate will have a direct impact on the business and will need to be a real self-starter.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and analyze metrics to ensure continual improvement
  • Support corporate long-term initiatives for Supply Chain
  • Make suggestions to current processes and implement changes
  • Report findings to executive members as required
  • Establish and manage strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Degree in supply Chain or operations
  • Professional designation in Operations or Supply Chain Management preferred
  • Six-Sigma certification is considered a strong asset
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing is critical
  • Demonstrated experience within a complex supply chain and distribution operation
  • Proven ability to develop and implement innovative process improvements
