Horizon Recruitment Inc. is on the search for an Assistant Controller for an international manufacturing company with operations in south Vancouver. This is a strategic role where you will work closely with operations to support growth and continuous improvement and implementation of company strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Monthly Financial Reporting and Analysis (Sales analysis, OPEX analysis, EBITA vs budgets)
- Variance analysis including purchase, product and stock adjustments
- Internal audit and operational improvement and special projects
- Preparation of monthly management reports
- Costing and operational/manufacturing analysis
Qualifications:
- CPA designation would be beneficial but not necessary with combination of education and experience
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role, manufacturing experience preferred
- Inventory and costing experience a plus
- Experience working with a large ERP system
- Highly skilled with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Adaptable and flexible to a changing environment
