Horizon Recruitment is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for an international company in South Vancouver. They are a leading manufacturer in the food industry and are seeking an experienced AP Clerk to join their team.
Working with the accounting team, the AP Clerk will be responsible for the full cycle accounts payable function for the company. A solid knowledge base of accounting functions is preferred as you will be posting approved invoices and assisting with month end closing. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience using a scanning tool to verify and record invoices into an ERP system. You will verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements.
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role in a fast paced, high volume environment
- Attention to detail and ability to apply sound judgement to all situations
- The ability to multi-task and manage time and workload
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using Infor/Lawson M3 is a definite asset
