Horizon Recruitment is currently seeking an Accounting Clerk for a 3 month contract to support the accounting team with our large Burnaby client. You will be responsible for producing invoices and checking for errors throughout the process. Someone with strong Excel skills coupled with an Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable background would be ideal. This is an excellent foot in the door opportunity with one of BC's largest public sector organizations.
- Working towards a professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) is preferred
- 3+ years of invoicing experience required
- Ability to manage your time and power through a backlog of invoices!
- Experience with large ERP systems and strong Excel skills
- Strong communication skills and get it done mentality
