Horizon Recruitment is currently seeking an Accounting Clerk for our transit accessible client in Burnaby. They are a growing and exciting company in the food sector and are seeking someone who can be relied on to take ownership of the AP and AR functions for the transportation side of the business.
Working with the accounting team, the Accounting Clerk will be responsible for the high volume accounts receivable and accounts payable function for the company. A solid knowledge base of accounting functions is preferred as you will be posting approved invoices and obtaining approvals for various transactions. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in a high volume environment (over 60 invoices per day).
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in a fast paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to apply sound judgement to all situations
- The ability to multi-task and manage time and workload
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
