- Assist with full cycle accounting for a growing retail organization
- Manage Business License administration for retail stores across North America
- Monthly reconciliations for inter-company and G/L accounts
- Preparation and posting of monthly journal entries
- Assistance with month end reporting requirements
- Ensure the balance sheet is fully supported and record-keeping is maintained in good order
- Interest in pursuing a recognized accounting designation (CPA)
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting support role, experience in retail environment a bonus
- Experience with Business License administration
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
- Advanced customer service experience and problem-solving abilities
