Description:
- Assist with full cycle accounting for a growing distribution and retail organization
- Monthly reconciliations for inter-company and G/L accounts
- Preparation and posting of monthly journal entries
- Assistance with month end reporting requirements
- Ensure the balance sheet is fully supported and record-keeping is maintained in good order
- Identify, resolve and/or implement changes related to accounting and control issues inherent in business processes
Requirements:
- Working towards a recognized accounting (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA)
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting, experience in retail environment a bonus
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing work environment
- Advanced customer service experience and problem solving abilities
