Horizon Recruitment Inc. is conducting a search for a Procurement and Contract Management Consultant to join one of our clients with operations across the province. This 6 month contract consulting assignment will start immediately and is an exceptional opportunity to work with the supply chain leadership team on the implementation of new processes and procedures related to vendor engagement, management and evaluation. This project is a new initiative and will provide the successful candidate with a unique experience that will be on the leading edge of supply chain practices.

Description:

  • Develop a risk management framework for all corporate procurement and contracts management
  • Experience defining business requirements and translating them into detailed specs
  • Gather requirements and work with management to design process maps and delivery solutions 
  • Create a standardized engagement process and structure for all spend categories (Corporate Services, Healthcare, IT, Marketing, Maintenance) including vendor engagement, negotiations practices and review practices

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a business analyst, supply chain or inventory analysis capacity with progressive responsibility
  • Ability to read and understand supply chain delivery models including contracts management
  • Experience preparing procurement documents and developing procurement and contract management strategies
  • Excellent facilitation, organization, and communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong team player
